I am passionated by sport since I am young. I am a kind of hyperactive person who loves moving and doing many things in a day ; walking, cleaning the house or my car... Since a few years, I walk several times by week in order to discover the villages around my parents' house in Terroir de Caux, spending time in nature... On one of my days off, I decided to go on a loop of 10 kilometers with my mother. The departure was at Avremesnil, then we walked towards Gueures and we took the Véloroute du Lin and a little part of the GR212.
We are lucky with all the hiking loops we have in Terroir de Caux, we had the choice ! The weather wasn't' too hot with not too much wind. It was a good day to go for a walk and share a good moment with my mother and to (re)discover our hiking paths.
We have chosen the loop number 13 thanks to its location, because my parents live just close to Avremesnil. Its medium length was also the principal criterion. We joined the departure by foot and we added 7 kilometers on top of the loop !
We left the house at 9:00 AM after a good breakfast. The weather was cloudy but really pleasant to walk thanks to the wind. It's the perfect time of the year to see all the typical Norman crops in the fields with many colors : flax, barley, rape, wheat, sugar beets...
During the hike, we were lucky to see some small wild animals from the paths : a hare, a few pigeons, two grey partridges and a pheasant. We saw a funny sheep and some herd of cows, the regional emblem in Normandy !
After our walk, we arrived at 1:00 PM at home. Don't worry, we didn't get lost ! We just took a short break at my grand-mother's house, who lives in Avremesnil ! We took a little juice after 14 kilometers of walk... The break was short because we still had 4 kilometers to do... We spent a really good moment and talked about few things. It is only the beggining of our adventure in Terroir de Caux because my mom loved it, which was a surprise for me!
