Racetrack

The commune of Bacqueville en Caux and the horse world is an old story! The horse racing society of Bacqueville, created in 1891 by the merchant Jules Morel, at the time Mayor of the town, is indeed one of the oldest in France.

The racetrack and

Horse racing events

With its 250-meter track, the Bacqueville-en-Caux racecourse is a 3rd category infrastructure.

The annual appointments of the racing society remain large-scale events, the traditional trotting races every second Sunday of August, and each year increasingly popular appointments.

Each year is also held there in mid-August a great Fête du Cheval where very beautiful equestrian shows are offered as well as many animations for young and old.

The training career

The other vocation of the racecourse is its training arena. Managed by the Association Bacquevillaise des Amis du Cheval (ABAC) it offers riders a sand and geotextile track equipped with obstacles, open all year round.
