Built on the foundations of a fortress, Bosmelet was the Duke de la Force's residence, governor of Normandy and tutor to Louis XV. Its park allows you to discover an 18th century chapel, a 16th century orangery, a flowered garden, remarkable trees, and remains of the Second World War.
To discover inside the castle, the collection of sets, costume designs and scene paintings by Opera director Alain Germain, owner of the premises since 2016. Temporary exhibitions and many events (classical concerts, conferences, storytelling walks,...) take place during the season in the chapel and the park.
